Hi, I'm registered dietitian Cristin Dillon-Jones. Welcome to my blog! I hope you will gain new meal and snack ideas from seeing what I eat every day. It's not practical for anyone to copy every bite, but you can use my examples, adjusting the amount of food to your particular needs, and be on your way to a healthier diet.
No Turning Around...(breakfast 11.20.08)
I do miss my morning walks with Bruce, but when the temperatures are in the 20's I am happy to let Mike do the job. Today I have to pull out the bin of hats, gloves and scarves because there is no turning around now...winter is upon us! I have a few small things to get done today and then tonight we are headed to a fundraising event for the non-profit group, Julie's Family Learning Program, that I am involved with. It'll be our first "event" with Will which is a good warm up because we have weddings to go to these next 2 weekends and of course Thanksgiving in between. For breakfast today I had a bowl of Kashi Heart to Heart with a banana and skim milk. If I had done the morning dog walk I am sure I'd be looking for a warm bowl of oatmeal and cup of tea but the cereal was quick and easy so I settled for that. Now I have to go and do the dishes from last nights dinner because I got lazy once the TV was on and I left them soaking...nothing worse than cold, dirty dishes...yuck!
